About us
At Jacobs, we understand that efficiency is paramount in flood modelling. Our clients have consistently highlighted the need for improved collaboration, data management, technology, and security. They require robust solutions to manage data, visualise outputs, undertake large scale simulations, develop comprehensive reports, collaborate on results and designs, and ensure data security.
In response to these needs, we developed Flood Platform. Initially created for our internal use, we have refined its capabilities over the past 15 years, and it is now available to any organisation. Flood Platform is more than just software; it empowers teams to work smarter, not harder, while allowing them to use their preferred modelling applications, currently including Flood Modeller and TUFLOW, with HEC-RAS and EPA SWMM coming soon.
Our platform offers core features including model management, visualisation, simulation and analysis, reporting, collaboration, and security and compliance. By storing data in a central repository, it enhances analysis and decision-making processes. Flood Platform is accessible across delivery teams and third parties, facilitating faster project delivery and stronger stakeholder support.
